The Wollaston Public Library has been created by the Township of Wollaston under By-Law : 43-16. A Service Agreement is approved annually to “outline the responsibilities of both parties…”. See : By-Law No. 16-2023.

Under the authority of the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER P.44, Part I, Section 3, “A public library shall be under the management and control of a board ”.
